Roles & Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies: The sales and marketing manager is responsible for creating and executing sales and marketing plans that help the company achieve its revenue and growth goals.


Identifying new business opportunities: The sales and marketing manager must identify new markets, products, and services that the company can offer to existing or potential customers.


Building and managing the sales team: The sales and marketing manager recruits, trains, and motivates the sales team to achieve their targets and provide excellent customer service.


Conducting market research: The sales and marketing manager is responsible for gathering and analyzing data on customer needs, preferences, and behavior to inform sales and marketing strategies.


Managing budgets: The sales and marketing manager oversees the company’s sales and marketing budgets, ensuring that expenses are allocated effectively and efficiently.


Developing relationships with customers: The sales and marketing manager works to build strong relationships with clients to foster customer loyalty and drive repeat business.


Monitoring and reporting on sales performance: The sales and marketing manager tracks the performance of the sales team and provides regular reports to management on sales trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity.


Collaborating with other departments: The sales and marketing manager works closely with other departments, such as production, design, and customer service, to ensure that the company’s sales and marketing strategies align with overall business objectives.


Minimum Qualifications:

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is typically required for a sales and marketing manager position. Some employers may prefer candidates with a Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.


Experience

Candidates MUST have at least 5-7 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the printing and marketing industry. Experience in managing a sales team, developing and executing sales and marketing plans, and conducting market research is highly desirable.


Skills: 

Candidates should have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. They should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be proficient in using sales and marketing software tools, and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Knowledge: 

Candidates should have a deep understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and tactics. They should also have a good knowledge of the printing and marketing industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competition.


Personal attributes: 

Candidates should be self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team. They should also be adaptable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
