ADVERTISEMENT OF JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Pangani District Council has received approval for new employment from the President’s Office Public Service Management with Ref. And. FA.97/228/01″TEMP”/06 dated 06 April 2023.

The Executive Director of the Pangani District Council is announcing to all qualified citizens to apply for various jobs as seen in this announcement.

1. MEMORY ASSISTANT II TGS. C (1 Post)
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Form IV (Form IV) or Form VI (Form VI) with a diploma/diploma (NTA level 6) in the field of records from government-recognized colleges, with computer skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMORIAL ASSISTANT GRADE II

  • List incoming letters in the Register (Incoming correspondence register).
  • List the letters that come from outside the Institute (Outgoing correspondence register).
  • Distributing files to Action Officers
  • Receiving the files that are returned to the registry from the practitioners.
  • Finding records/documents/files required by executives.
  • Returning files to the racks/filling cabinets or other places where they are stored.
  • Monitoring the circulation of files within the Institute (File tracking)

2. WRITER OFFICE OPERATOR II TGS. C (3 POSITIONS)
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have Form IV (Form IV) or Form VI (Form VI) who has graduated with a certificate/Diploma of Hazili or (NTA level 6) of Hazili, Either they have passed the Kiswahili and English Abbreviation subject 80 words in one minute and get office computer programs such as: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet, E-mail and Publisher from any university recognized by the government.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF OFFICE OPERATOR GRADE II

  • Typing letters, information and common and confidential documents
  • Receiving visitors and interviewing them about their problems, and directing them to places where they can be addressed
  • Keeping records of events, appointments, visitors, dates of meetings, trips of his superior and the schedule of other tasks
  • Searching for files and documents required in the implementation of job duties
  • Receiving files and distributing them to the officers in the relevant department/unit/section
  • Collecting, maintaining and returning files and documents to relevant departments
  • Organizing excerpts and making preparations for various sessions; and
  • Prepare a list of office equipment needs.

3. DRIVER CLASS II TGS. B (3 POSITIONS)
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

He must have a Fourth Form Education (Form IV), and a Class E or C1 driving license that he has worked for at least one year without causing an accident. He must have attended the Basic Driving Course offered by the Vocational Training College (VETA) or another College recognized by the Government. Applicants with Technical Test Certificate Class II will be considered first.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CLASS II DRIVER

  • Inspecting the car before and after the trip to determine the safety of the car.
  • Sending employees to different places on business trips.
  • Doing minor car repairs.
  • Collecting and distributing various documents.
  • Filling and keeping information of all trips in the Trip notebook.
  • Cleaning the car, and
  • To do other work as directed by his Supervisor.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS FOR JOB VACANCIES
All applicants must have the following general qualifications:

  • All applicants must be Tanzanian Citizens
  • All applicants must be between the ages of 18 and no more than 45 years
  • All applicants should write their letters of application by hand and attach their CV, copies of their professional and skill certificates, birth certificate and two recent passport size photographs.
  • All applicants must have a National Identification Number (NIDA)
  • All applicants should be willing to work in a rural environment.
  • Applicants with certificates of the Fourth Vocational Form that have been obtained abroad should ensure that they have been verified by the National Examinations Council (NECTA) AND the Technical Education Council (NACTE).
  • Applicants who have been fired, reduced or laid off in the Service.  Public are not allowed.
  • Applicants who are not qualified are advised not to apply as their letters will not be processed
  • “Testmonial”, “Provisional statement” document of the results of Form Four, Six and Result slip will not be accepted.
  • Those selected for Interview will be notified on the Interview Date.
The deadline for receiving applications is 24 April 2023 at half past nine in the afternoon (09:30)
