The Medical Practitioner of Maweni-Kigoma Regional Referral Hospital is announcing Tanzanians who have the qualifications and desire to work at the Maweni Regional Referral Hospital for a voluntary contract for various cadres as outlined below.

 The job vacancies advertised are as follows:-

1.0 NURSE GRADE II-TGHS A 15 POSITIONS

 
(a) Qualifications of Applicants;
They must have a two-year Nursing certificate from a College recognized by the Government and be enrolled (Enrolled) by the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council.
(b) Duties and Responsibilities

(i) To perform nursing tasks to serve customers in jamil, hospitals and all places where health services are provided.

(ii) Supervising and coordinating all the work of health workers in their workplace

(ii) Collecting statistics and preparing information on his work performance

(iv) Providing services to patients at home.

(v) Provide counseling

(vi) Providing preventive and contraceptive services

(vii) Providing maternity and child health services

(vii) To educate patients and the community about their health problems

(ix) Monitoring the maintenance of work tools in his work areas

(x) To do other work assigned by his superior related to his education, experience and knowledge.

2.0 DOCTOR GRADE II-TGHS E 5 POSTS 
a) Features of direct entry
Doctor’s degree from Universities recognized by the Government who have completed “Internship” and obtained registration from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika).
 
b) Doctor’s duties and responsibilities
(1) To perform all medical work in the hospital related to various diseases including children’s diseases, maternal diseases and normal and emergency surgeries.
(ii) Providing and managing health education as well as improving community health in the District and Regions or his work area.
(iii) Investigate, monitor and prevent disease outbreaks
(iv) Maintaining statistics and using them as directed in the principles of MTUH
