We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional in the field of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) to join our team in Mbeya. Job Overview
As a SHEQ Manager, you will oversee the complete SHEQ function, ensuring adherence to all local regulations as well as Coca-Cola’s internal requirements regarding quality, safety, health, and environmental sustainability. Your primary objective will be to support the manufacturing teams in meeting their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while fostering a motivational environment that encourages peak performance. Your coaching responsibilities will extend to the manufacturing teams to ensure effective implementation of quality processes and the development of co-packing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will encompass a range of critical duties, including:
– Aligning Quality Goals: Ensure that quality objectives are consistent with the strategic goals of the business.
– Promoting Quality Culture: Foster an organizational culture that prioritizes quality through comprehensive understanding and commitment.
– Cultivating Safety Culture: Instill a safety-oriented mindset throughout the organization, emphasizing compliance with established safety systems.
– KPI Development: Create and implement Key Performance Indicators and reporting systems that align with Coca-Cola’s internal requirements and external standards, covering various metrics such as water usage, energy consumption, waste management, and recycling efforts.
– Monitoring Quality Standards: Establish and maintain product and package quality standards specifically for mineral water plants in accordance with legal and internal Coca-Cola guidelines.
– Technical Manual Oversight: Ensure the Coolpix Technical Manual is regularly updated, trained upon, and effectively disseminated across relevant outlets.
– Quality Assurance for Co-Packers: Monitor ingredient and packaging quality against agreed standards for both internal products and co-packer operations.
– Laboratory Management: Oversee the Central Micro laboratory to provide testing services for co-packers, internal needs, and additional trade samples while enforcing Good Laboratory Practices.
– Process Capability Programs: Implement process capability initiatives across both plants based on mutually agreed parameters.
– Trade Quality Program Implementation: Establish and enforce a Trade Quality program within the manufacturing setup.
– Management System Documentation: Develop and maintain a documented management system that encompasses all quality, food safety, occupational health and safety, and environmental requirements, adhering to legal standards and Coca-Cola policies.
Qualifications Required to apply jobs at Coca-Cola
